Biography

Michael Ball is one of the greatest musical theatre stars of his generation. Since making his West End debut as Marius in the original production of Les Miserables, Michael has created a string of leading characters in the West End and on Broadway in shows such as Aspects of Love, Passion, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Phantom of the Opera and Woman In White. His triumphant return to Musical Theatre as Edna in Hairspray saw him collect the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.

As a vocalist, Michael Ball has represented Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest, watched by 600 million viewers. Amongst many albums, Michael has recorded Bernstein’s West Side Story with the London Philharmonic. His recording of Love Changes Everything from Aspects of Love remains one of the UK’s biggest selling singles

Away from music and theatre, Michael hosted his own ITV music and chat show, and has co-hosted This Morning and The One Show. He’s acted in Coronation Street and appeared as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s fearsome enforcer/debt collector in cult sit-com Toast of London. He also fronts Sunday Night with Michael Ball on Radio 2, and regular stands-in for other presenters on the station.

Date TBC.  We will be looking at high-performance and mindset with our two excellent speakers.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
