Tony and Spandau Ballet were propelled to fame with New Romantic hits like Through the Barricades, Gold and True. He continues to wow all age groups with soul and big band jazz as well as 80s hits.


Biography

Spandau Ballet, the most successful group of the eighties New Romantic scene, propelled Tony Hadley to stardom and embodied the music and fashion trends of the era. Hits like True and Gold brought them fame and fortune around the world.

As the Thatcher years drew to a close, Spandau disbanded and Tony pursued a solo career, performing with his own band and presenting on radio and television.

In the ITV show Reborn in the USA, Tony wowed crowds across the US during the eight weeks of the programme with his distinctive voice and natural charm. He won the contest and embarked on a national tour with Peter Cox from Go West and Martin Fry from ABC. Two of the original Spandau members, John Keeble and Steve Norman,then joined Tony to perform some of the classic hits that made his career...

In 2015 Tony surprised fans by entering ‘the jungle’ in ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’, where he made it through to the final 6. He has since pursued numerous projects, including recording with Gary Barlow and performing at BBC Proms and the David Bowie tribute concert. 2017 seems him embark on a solo US tour.

Date TBC.  We will be looking at high-performance and mindset with our two excellent speakers.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
