Biography

The proud Bristolian is often described as a force of nature. When Dawn French said “Jayde Adams is the 3rd funniest woman in the world, fact” she was onto something.

Jayde was nominated Best Newcomer for her first Edinburgh show. Her next, The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face, earned five star reviews. It made such an impact that is was scooped up by Amazon Prime, renamed Serious Black Jumper and released around the world.

Onstage Jayde is a larger-than-life bundle of energy, taking the audience with her in a celebration of her ups and downs with a knowing smile and exquisite timing. She might or might not end the set with a flawless rendition of Nessun Dorma – as performed on an overnight bus to Scotland.

Jayde made her mark on TV as host of Channel 4’s Crazy Delicious and Snackmasters. She has also clocked up appearances on Richard Osman’s House of Games, Strictly It Takes Two and Russell Brand’s Stand Off for Comic Relief. Her acting credits include Alma’s Not Normal and Good Omens.
