An old soul in a young body, Jamali is a bold stage presence, having sold out his last tour across multiple countries. You may see him on Nevermind the Buzzcocks, or remember him as one of Taskmaster's more unruly contestants. He has meanwhile written and produced his own short film, Documenting Life.
Jamali’s punchy style is reminiscent of some of the biggest acts to define America’s Def Comedy Jam. Yet, with his unmistakable Ilford accent, he embodies all that is Britain’s diverse comedy scene in the 21st Century.
Political yet extremely likeable, his sets dissect the psychology of class and race, poking fun at the dilemmas thrown up by identity as young working-class black man. His tendency to talk from multiple perspectives gives him the air of someone wise beyond their years.
Jamali is the host of Vice's Hate Thy Neighbour and Channel 4's Adventures in Futureland. He is seen regularly on Nevermind the Buzzcocks, and is remembered as Taskmaster’s most unruly contestant.
Having been a regular voice on Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Live at the Apollo and 8 Out of 10 Cats and Dara O'Briain's Go 8-Bit, Jamali continues to progress as a stand-alone writer of original works. His own short film is called Documenting Life.
