Rob Beckett

Fee Band

Rob came to standup from the event industry. He’s since hosted a Saturday night game show, become a regular on panel shows including as a team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, co-hosted from the jungle and won Taskmaster.

Biography

Rob burst onto the comedy circuit fifteen years ago and hasn’t looked back. As well as hosting All Together Now, he can be seen alongside Romesh Ranganathan, in Rob and Romesh Vs, as the unmistakable voice of Celebs Go Dating, and as team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats.

With his south London cheek and man-of-the-people charm, Rob looks at the absurdities of the world, the quirks of his family life, the strangeness of the middle classes, and why silly pranks are brilliant.

Rob has co-hosted The Royal Variety Performance with Romesh, the first time two comedians had hosted the event together in over thirty years. He has also hosted Children in Need and Comic Relief.

Other TV appearances include BBC One’s Live at The Apollo, Would I Lie to You, The Graham Norton Show, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, A League of Their Own, Mock The Week, The Jonathan Ross Show, Celebrity Juice, and Taskmaster.

Rob can also be heard alongside Josh Widdicombe on their highly successful podcast Parenting Hell through which they interview fellow parents. Guests have included Katherine Ryan, Bill Bailey, Joe Wicks, Jonathan Ross, and Kerry Godliman.

His book A Class Act, is an autobiographical account of being working class in the middle-class world of television and comedy.
