Biography

Ed Chamberlin leads ITV’s horse racing coverage having previously served as one of Sky Sports’ main presenters. Now seen up and down the race courses of the UK from Cheltenham to York to Aintree, he previously fronted Sky’s Super Sunday and mediated between Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher on Monday Night Football.

A former bookmaker and journalist, Ed first appeared on Sky Sports as the resident bookie and betting stats expert alongside Matthew Lorenzo and Kirsty Gallagher every Friday night on the Sports Centre, where he was noted for his questionable 'City trader' look and pink braces.

Moving into presenting, Ed went on to co-host the betting show The Full SP with Jeff Stelling before joining the Sky Sports News team on a full-time basis. In addition to Sport Saturday and various live football coverage, Ed has also presented rugby union and athletics on Sky Sports as well as shows including Football First and Goals on Sunday. He has also presented coverage of the UEFA Champions League and the World Cup draws. Returning to his first love of the turf, he now fronts ITV’s high-profile racing coverage alongside AP McCoy and Frankie Dettori.

Presenting awards or speaking after dinner, Ed is an affable, down-to-earth personality with stories from behind the scenes at Sky Sports and secrets from the sport of kings.
