With credits including Rogue Traders, The Secret Tourist and Keeping Britain Safe, Matt is best known as a consumer champion and investigator of scams and ripoffs. He’s also hosted The One Show, The Code, and live events including the Royal Wedding and The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.


Biography

Matt Allwright fronts Watchdog having previously presented Rogue Traders, a two-man motorcycle mission to uncover the tricks of disreputable plumbers, electricians and builders. He presents a range of factual entertainment shows, many with a strong emphasis on consumer affairs.

Matt joined Watchdog as a producer and quickly moved in front of camera. As well as hosting Weekend Watchdog, he also won recognition for some memorable location stories. He has also presented Scambusters, an investigation into the art of the con-artist; and Brassed Off Britain, offering the public a unique opportunity to have their say on the country's worst customer service. Fat Nation tackled the growing obesity problem facing Britain.

Other presenting credits include The One Show, Holiday, Value For Money and The Big Dinner. He co-hosted the Tomorrow's World special on terrorism, was part of the BBC team covering the Royal Wedding in 2011, reported for The Heaven & Earth Show and appeared alongside Sir David Attenborough in a BBC documentary on climate change.

Date TBC.  We will be looking at high-performance and mindset with our two excellent speakers.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

Navigating Risk and Chaos – Strategies For Coping With An Uncertain World.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
