Kate Humble is a wildlife and science presenter and producer. With Bill Oddie, Chris Packham and Simon King, she hosted SpringWatch, AutumnWatch, and Seawatch widely praised for reigniting public interest in nature. Kate is the author of the award-winning book Thinking on My Feet: The small joy of putting one foot in front of another and has presented various documentaries for the BBC including Animal Park, The Spice Trail, Volcano Live, Orbit, The Blue Planet Live! and Extreme Wives with Kate Humble.
Kate joined the BBC as a researcher on Animal Hospital, then moved on to Holiday. She followed up with her own series, Humble Holidays, exploring maximum fun at minimum cost.
Kate is the ambassador for the walking charity Living Streets and has served as the President of the RSPB. She has reported on the impact of climate change, presented Abyss and Countryfile, and filmed India’s dancing bears for Amazing Animals. She has also written for The Telegraph, The Times and Wanderlust Magazine, and has appeared on Countdown and Who Do You Think You Are.
