The former children’s TV presenter has co-hosted The One Show, competed in Strictly and MasterChef, and has presented everything from quiz shows to sports coverage to documentaries.


Biography

Gethin Jones is a popular and versatile presenter. Perhaps best known for his time on Blue Peter and as a guest presenter on The One Show, he's hosted everything from quiz shows to sports coverage to documentaries.

Gethin's first break in TV was for Welsh language broadcaster S4C, presenting youth and music shows. His time on channel lead to his role on Blue Peter where he experienced the usual set of extraordinary challenges from doing the Cresta Run to exploring the Bolivian jungle to training with the Royal Marines. After Blue Peter, Gethin went on to shows including Police Camera Action, Gethin Jones’ Danger Hunters and The Gethin Jones Show on Radio 5 Live. He was a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing, achieving third place, and taking part in the live tour. He has since presented It Takes Two and hosted the US version of the show, Dancing with The Stars. He also completed in Celebrity MasterChef, and has hosted his own shows on Heart FM, Hits Radio, and BBC Radio Wales.

An accomplished pianist and violinist, Gethin has played with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall and presented the live Proms in the Park show. He has also taken part in ITV’s Soccer Aid, 71 Degrees North, Celebrity Mastermind and Countdown. Gethin has narrated a production of The Rocky Horror Show, and has held four Guinness World Records. He is the co-founder of an autism charity and runs his own events company.

Date TBC.  We will be looking at high-performance and mindset with our two excellent speakers.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
