Des Clarke is a successful young Scottish comedian and a popular, Sony Radio Award winning presenter. He has appeared as host, performer and guest on a raft of sport, lifestyle and entertainment shows.
Onstage Des combines cleverness with childlike energy and infectious enthusiasm, appealing to any audience. He has won awards from the BBC, Channel 4 and the Daily Telegraph, and received a Sony for his part in the North by North North sketch show.
Des’ big break came as co-host on SM:TV Live. Since then he has fronted the MTV Europe Awards and Children in Need. He presents Des Clarke’s Friday Feeling on BBC Radio Scotland, offers a comic take on the week’s sport on 5 Live, fronts BBC Scotland’s Children in Need coverage, and writes an occasional column for the Daily Record.
