Craig is best known for playing Dave Lister in Red Dwarf, and Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street. He first appeared on television as a performance poet, which led to minor presenting roles. He regularly features on national television, with appearances on many popular shows, and has hosted a wide variety of programmes including Robot Wars and The Gadget Show. He also hosts the afternoon show on BBC Radio 6 Music.


Biography

Craig Charles is an actor, presenter, DJ, and poet, best known for playing Dave Lister in the sitcom Red Dwarf and appearing in Coronation Street. He presented the game show Robot Wars and narrated the comedy endurance show Takeshi’s Castle. He also presents the afternoon show on BBC 6 Music.

Craig started out his career as a performance poet on the British cabaret circuit, before moving into the world of television. He has been a crucial part of all Red Dwarf’s seasons and played the character Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street for ten years. He has also featured in a number of British television programmes including The Bill, EastEnders and Holby City, and took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

As well as a hugely successful acting career, Craig also has a notable music career. He has written and composed his own songs, plays the guitar and piano, and is a hugely successful DJ. Playing funk and soul during his sets Craig has played at some of the biggest festivals, including Glastonbury and Parklife.

Date TBC.  We will be looking at high-performance and mindset with our two excellent speakers.

Guenther Steiner is the Former Team Principal of F1’s Haas, a role he held from the team’s inception until this year. Under his leadership, he grew Haas into one of the sport’s leading independent teams.

Joining Guenther on stage will be broadcaster and behavioural scientist Paul Mckenna, who has written a number of bestselling books, and works on how psychology and mindset can impact achievement.

Navigating Risk and Chaos – Strategies For Coping With An Uncertain World.

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
