Recreating favourites from the classic soul era of the 1960s and 70s, the Atlantic Soul Orchestra fill dancefloors around the world with irresistible hits from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, the Four Tops, James Brown and many more.
Atlantic Soul Orchestra are a high-energy British band who recreate the classic soul sounds of the Motown, Atlantic and Stax labels of the 1960s and 70s. With male and female vocalists they take on favourites from the likes of Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding and others.
Members of the Soul Orchestra have played with artists ranging from Eric Clapton and James Brown to Adele, Beyoncé and Amy Winehouse. The band’s music director is a Grammy-winner, and they have played around the world at events held by organisations including the producers of the James Bond films, Gillette, HSBC, and Disney.
With professionalism, dedication and skill, dancefloor-fillers and sing-along classics including Respect, Dancing in the Street, and Heard it Through the Grapevine (as well as an irresistible James Brown medley) are performed by a band at the height of their powers. As Time Out magazine said, “if you don’t like the Atlantic Soul Orchestra then you don’t like music”.
