As a Former BBC News and Panorama Editor and Producer, Felicity is an expert in the field of communication. She is the author of the book Exposure, which explains how business can utilise the media to its advantage, and relfects on her experience in journalism in speeches, where she inspires audiences to become better communicators. 


Biography

Felicity is an international communications trainer and consultant, having founded her own communications consultancy Cowiecom. Prior to this, she was a BBC News and Panorama Editor, where she won two Royal Television Society Awards for her work. She also wrote the book Exposure, which sets out how business can utilise the media to its advantage through improving media relations and becoming a media authority for journalists. Exposure was a finalist at the Business Book Awards.

 

As a speaker, Felicity reflects on her own experiences of breaking big news stories to inspire audiences to boost their communication skills, offering the insight that the worlds of journalism and of business have a similar goal - that of communicating the right messages to the right people. Felicity also brings her journalistic skills to conferences as a facilitator, using her experience to ensure she asks the key questions in a session.
