Following the release of his Netflix special Lubricant, he became the sole comedian to have two of the top ten most-streamed specials across all platforms in the UK.


Biography

With over nine million followers across his social media platforms, Russell Howard is one of the UK’s most successful comedians. He wrote and starred in The Russell Howard Hour, which ran for six seasons, and previously, wrote and starred in ten seasons of Russell Howard’s Good News. His travelogue series, Russell Howard & Mum: Globetrotters, was the highest-rated new commission on Comedy Central when it launched and ran for two seasons.

On stage, Russell has an infectious enthusiasm for the world that’s impossible to resist. His international tour show, Respite, his biggest to date, spanned over twenty-four countries across five continents. This followed his international tour, Round the World, which saw Russell performing at the Royal Albert Hall on ten consecutive nights, breaking the venue’s record previously held by Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow of eight shows in a row. The tour was then released as a Netflix Special entitled Recalibrate. He has released four bestselling live stand-up DVDs: Russell Howard Live, Russell Howard Live: Dingledoddies, Right Here, Right Now and Russell Howard: Wonderbox.

In his podcast Wonderbox, Russell chats to special guests about what they’d keep in their Wonderbox, recounting the most memorable and funniest moments of their lives. He describes the series as “an absolutely joyous celebration of the little things that make people tick.”

On Tuesday 17th September we had the pleasure of hearing from a remarkable panel of speakers, who shared their expertise on the challenges of managing Risk in a chaotic world.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Sabrina Cohen-Hatton KFSM (Firefigter and Neuroscience researcher), Lord Parker of Minsmere (Andrew Parker, Former Director General of MI5), and Sir Robin Niblett (Former Director and Chief Executive of Chatham House). The event was hosted superbly by Mastermind and BBC News presenter Clive Myrie.

Over the hour, our panellists explored Risk on multiple levels, from global affairs to business environments and personal everyday challenges. They provided valuable insights into how we can better manage and mitigate Risk in today’s unpredictable world.
