Brian became the first Irish Lions captain for decades, before dislocating his shoulder during the opening match of the tour in New Zealand. He has since become his country’s highest ever try scorer, helping them to their first Grand Slam since 1961.
In a successful and loyal club career with Leinster, Brian has won the European Cup three times - second only to French giants Toulouse.
