Sophie’s debut solo stand-up show, Venus, saw her nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe. She is a board member of the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society. Sophie has appeared on Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg, Live At The Apollo, and Mock the Week, and has performed and hosted masterclasses in stand-up comedy and improv internationally, in locations as diverse as New York, Utrecht and Accra.

The success of this show saw her performing a sold out two week run at the Soho Theatre.

Sophie won the Funny Women Best Comedy Writer Award, as voted by producers, head writers and executives across the industry.
